i actually just bought a ps3 on ebay (no i'm not op) and i got the 60 gig version cause it is the only ps3 that can play ALL ps 1 and 2 games, just fyi, i spent 370 including shipping for the console, 2 controllers, lil big plaent, mercinaries2 , a couple other ps3 games, 4 ps2 games, and hdmi, and a few games old downloaded on the hard drive, i'm incredibly happy with my purchase, and its supposed to get here tomorrow, and btw ps3 is actually advertising that it streams netflix, which i have.

YI bought the 60 GB version when i heard they were discontinuing that model. i knew that it's os was going to be the only one that was completely backwards compatible with all the older titles. I use it mainly for the ps1 and ps2 titles, if something comes out for both systems I op for the 360 version. Everyone forgets that it comes with a 3 year warranty against the RROD. To all those who bitch that you have to pay for xbox live need to stop being cheap asses. It's $60 for 12 months - talk about breaking the bank. That goes towards paying people to keep the service running a lot smoother than the PSN. If you check out the marketplace they run promotions on renewing and I got 12 months for $32 when MW2 launched. When it comes down the to HD aspect of it unless you have super vision you are not going to notice a difference.
