Statement Regarding Content Moderation Practices
Recent media coverage has focused on allegations that illegal content is not properly moderated. Those claims do not reflect how the platform actually operates.
We maintain robust, multi-layered automated screening on every upload. This includes checks on user identifiers (IP address, email, username, browser fingerprint), TOR network blocking, file metadata extraction (filename, hash, EXIF), cross-referencing against internal blacklists and external databases including EOKM’s WebIQ, and machine-learning models.
We maintain a dedicated 24/7 moderation and compliance team operating on a custom-built platform. This team reviews and processes abuse reports, takedown requests, and performs ongoing enforcement actions. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy: illegal content is removed immediately, responsible users are banned where appropriate, and violations are reported to authorities.
When a violation is identified, whether through our systems or an abuse report - we remove not only the offending media file but the entire view page and all associated keywords, tags, and comments. This goes beyond legal requirements. Most abuse and takedown requests are processed within the first hour. These efforts are part of a long-term record: since 2015 we have reviewed millions of uploads and removed or reported masses of non-compliant content. We do not limit ourselves to responding to external requests. For decades we have actively reported illegal content and users to law enforcement agencies in the United States (including NCMEC), Germany, Belgium, Russia, the Netherlands, and many other jurisdictions. We provide evidence that supports indictments and have given depositions in court proceedings. Investigators have shared direct outcomes with us, including raid results, convictions, and sentences. This proactive cooperation is standard practice here.
The platform is built to host legal adult content only. Illegal material has no place on it. We treat every report and every legal obligation with the same priority.
We have further strengthened our moderation systems and processes to prevent illegal content more effectively and to respond to every report with speed and thoroughness.
