Rage against the machine or red hot chilli peppers?
Imagine a world where only one of these bands exist and the members of the other were never born. Which band do you keep?
Ratm all day for me

Chili Peppers by far. Much better and longer lasting band that can be enjoyed throughout a longer period in my life. My high school years were defined by their first few albums like Freaky Styley and Uplift Mofo. Mother's Milk and Blood Sugar were on constantly in college. I've enjoyed listening to them since even into my late 40's now. Rage I liked early on but I refuse to listen to them now when I realized I couldn't support a band that openly supports cop killers. Sure, not all cops are good, but 99% are and Daniel Faulkner did not deserve to die and Mumia Abu-Jamal should already be six feet under from a needle in his arm. So fuck Rage...will never listen to them again.

interesting choice of bands, curious as to why these two specifically? But I have to say the Peppers. Like another reply I don' really like politics in my music. Songs with a message are one thing but Rage goes there too often. I'm not a huge rhcp fan but I respect their music and they are certainly one of the most consistently good bands out there, even after all these years.
