I confess that I wish people would quit posting the same nothingful posts in the boards over and over. We've got about a thousand "what would you do to hers" and "what to you think of hers."
It's kind of like when you walk up to somebody; you get there attention and there is that potential for something interesting.. but instead you talk them about the weather..
I think Louis CK puts it best:
Let's talk about some shit.
It's always disappointing to me when people talk about the weather.
Cause that means you don't really want to talk about anything.
You know, like I was in my elevator today. I got in my elevator.
And one of my neighbors got on. I don't know his name. I'll die not knowing his name.
But ...
We are only us. We look at each other. There's this moment.
There's always this moment where, like,
maybe something could happen, There's a little potential in that moment.
And you wait, you go. Eh, that's cold.
Ah Fuck!
Nothings gonna happen.
You cop out.
And you just say meaningless shit.
You have a competition of how stupid you can be.
Oh, I cannot believe eight months ago it was fifty degrees out.
What if you didn't do that? What if you didn't cop out?
What if you let the moment linger.
Don't go to the weather, and you just maybe could have a real moment.
