Civilians (most of them) think that soldiers in the US Military are all buff and masculine and ready to die for their country.

I've been in the US Navy for 11 years and I have to confess to you guys...the Navy is really gay. I don't know how many times I've been stationed in different countries where there's easily places you could bang a few chicks every night yet a large majority of the crew end up either going to places that have trannies or they end up fucking each other.
One of the officers I knew had a wife and three kids yet when we were stationed out in Japan, he had gay sex with a bunch of male prostitutes (though in his defense, the male prostitutes in Japan are quite feminine. Very slim and submissive)
Another one of my buddies from Texas who was raised in a very religious home ended up blowing a few of the crew in the upper decks at night during watch while we were out at sea. I thought he was going to get harassed because everyone found out about this but to my surprise, no one cared. Hell, some of them even went up to him during watch and asked for a blowjob.

Also, some of the officers have really, really weird ways of conducting punishments. One of my officers had this little nerdy kid stand up and jerk off in the hallway for an entire night as a punishment (forgot what he did) - and we all just walked past him while he jerked off. If you even did anything as much as crack a smile, the officer would have you also stand in the hallway and jerk off along side the guy.

Don't get it wrong, though, I don't hate gays. It's just I find it funny that the government actually had that whole "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy all the while a large group of their soldiers are gay as hell.

You can call it a troll post all you want, but my uncle was in the Navy for 26 years and attained the rank of Master Chief and I had a talk with him a few years ago about this whole thing and he laughed about it and told me that back in his day, as punishment for disobedience or if people just didn't like you, they would tie you down to the bed or hold down the sheets so you can't move and take turns dick slapping you

I also forgot to add that a lot of the men in the the Navy also end up turning into pedophiles. We get stationed in random places outside of the US for a few years and in many countries, especially in Asia, 13-14 year old girls are willing to fuck older guys, especially white guys, and of course, we had our fair share of Asian girls that wanted to experiment with black guys, though I think most regretted it.

I have never gone below 14, or at least not that I know of. The whole "gay thing" is pretty real, I'm not trolling at all. I don't know if it was just my squad but it got pretty gay out there, especially sailing across the Pacific which takes a few months.
I just remembered one of the names we had for one of the officers was "Rear Admiral Dan" since, y'know, he was into slamming guys in the rear. We had a good laugh out of it but he did get pretty pissed when he heard about it.

I have 15 yrs in the military. I refused to reup over allowing gays in the military. I know there have been some in there I am not stupid but they were afraid to say or do anything. I spent 4 years in the Navy, and never not once, ever heard of "squads" on a ship. Divisions...yes, shops...yes, never "squads". "Squadrons" were on aircraft carriers and gator freighters, but they never were referred to as "squads". And before you get a chance to cover your ass, you will probably say "Well, I was on an E.O.D. squad" or something. Fat chance. The only Navy you were probably ever even close to being in was being an understudy to the (gay) sailor in a Village People tribute band. "Macho, macho man....I've got to be a macho fag...."

My time is up in November I did not reup due to gays being allowed in openly to the military. I want nothing to do with a limp wristed faggot in the field, baracks or showers with me. Wow, you really do not understand how the Marine Corps works do you? A "Fleet Admiral" would/will not be in charge of Marine forces on the ground. A commanding General would. No Admiral is in charge of the Marine Corps as a whole at all. Yes, the Marine Corps falls under the Department of the Navy, which falls under the DoD who answers to the PROTUS. The CNO and the CMC work closely together but the CNO is in no way in charge of the Marine Corps. Also, look up what an actual "Fleet" Admiral is. The rank of Fleet Admiral still exists, but there has not been an active one since World War II. I was not around then so maybe the Fleet Admiral was in charge of the Marines on his ships, I don't know what the CoC was back then. If that was the case then Rest assured, once the Marines took to the beaches in combat, the Fleet Admiral had nothing to do with the Marines CoC at that point.

As of 9/20/2011, gays are allowed to serve openly in the U.S. Military now. Doesn't bother me none as most gay people I know won't hit on straight's unless they think they might be closeted/curious/etc. Seems that homosexuals have the a similiar thing that straight people call "gaydar" except that theirs works to detect straight men. I am guessing that is why some of the haters on here are worried about gays joining. They are scared they will be outted by a gay man, or end up switching sides.
