As much as I loathe the American who started this disgusting thread I loathe people of any country challenging someone on a subject they obviously know little to nothing about. Get off your lazy asses and do some research. Winning a few wars... the American Revolution, and don't whine about it not even making the papers in London when the Americans kicked your asses out of the country. Then there's the War of 1812 when Americans gave the Brits another major ass kicking. Then there was the Mexican War, the US won that too. Then the Spanish American War where, you guessed it, the Yanks kicked Spain's ass and I think got to keep Cuba and the Philippines for their efforts.
Then the Americans came in and saved the pompous and arrogant assholes that collectively are called Europe in both World War I and World War II. The Brits would be speaking German if the Yanks hadn't saved your cocky asses. And please know, that no matter the level of the bullshit you'll throw to refute that point, there isn't a historian in the world who would dispute the truth of my statement so save yourself some angst and move on. Desert Storm was a clear victory. No one wins in Afghanistan, not even Afghans. Iraq was certainly not a military loss but was one of the greatest blunders in leadership the world has ever seen. Throw in the victories over Grenada and Panama in the last half of the 20th Century and that's a formidable record of American war victories.
Since WW II the Brits have fought one war on their own and squeaked out a split decision over Argentina. Really? You talk smack about winning wars and you beat Argentina barely? Dunkirk was you on your own too wasn't it? No wonder you needed the Americans to save your asses from Hitler. Besides the French, Brits are the western world's weak sister when it comes to the military. The Israelis would kick your pompous asses.
One final note, the instrument hasn't been developed that could measure my indifference to anything you say in response but knock yourselves out anyway. Just know I won't read any of them. You bore me even in isolation.
