Got kicked out of a dinner party just now, this will have ramifications for the woman who did this

So my wife, kids and I were invited over to this other couple's house for dinner along with 6-7 other couples. My wife decided this afternoon she did not feel up to going as she felt a bit ill. Anyway, I went anyway with my kids. We were there not even 15 minutes when this chick's husband comes up to me and asks if my wife is coming. I told him no. Then about 30 seconds later this woman said "This is for couples only, its a couple's only event". I turned around got my kids, left. Did not say another word.

Those people are in trouble. No more invites over to my BBQs, ever.
