iron maiden has to give their tracks away noone freaking remembers them seriously they were an 80's hair band.. they have been out of circulation so long they really havent released anything worth a fuck so they have to give a track or two away to remind people who they once were.
NIN releases all of their music for free. How about that?
your a prick maiden hater. Maiden have sold more than 100 million albums - almost 40 million of those in the last decade. Their last album was number 1 all over the world and they played to over 2 million people on their somewhere back in time tour in 07/08 alone. Get your facts right.
Aerosmith and Bon Jovi are still very big acts. Their prices will drop when people stop showing up for their concerts.
But the record industry is dying, and some artist are going to go down with it. (cough*metallica*cough) And it's not because of file sharing, as the industry leaders would have us believe. It's because the record execs believe that people are still willing to pay $20-30 for, antiquated technology, a CD, that they are just going to take home and rip to MP3's anyway. The only dedicated CD player I still own is in my truck stereo.
standard bon jovi tickets were nowhere near 200 at the o2,if i remember rightly, they said on the radio they were 45
go look any where all concert tickets are 100 and up its not the bans its places like comcast tics and ticket master that are ripping us off and oh ya UP THE IRONS saw there last concert was amazing
