Some people make themselves poor, but let's face it, America isn't the shining example of opportunity that it once was. I worked harder than most people for over 6 years and was making less than 20k a year with a Bachelor's degree in my pocket. I got out of that cycle but it was a secure job at the time. Now my future hinges on whether or not I can get the kind of work that I've been trying for since college and I'm slowly making progress but there are no guarantees. I could be out on the streets within the next few months all on the turn of a dime.

If Obama opens up all areas to drilling we have an oversupply, why would you speculate that prices are going up when you now know that there will be no interuption in supply of oil and prices due to supply and demand will not go up. Speculators are now out of the picture. He does have control.
