We need to be able to rate content and sort by highest rated.
The sorting options are WAY too limited, and just lead to frustration. Being able to rate content means that the best stuff is always easy to find, and the crap gets filtered out.
Motherless is still one of the best sites in existence, but it's massively lacking in basic features like this.
The content is already kinda "rated" by most views, most favorites etc etc
Just hit the videos or images up top of page and sort by most favorited/viewed/commented etc
No point in adding some rating system like you suggest as it's already in place, and the one they use now can't be trolled and downvoted by idiots (which your way could be).
Those 'filters' will always show virtually the same files. You don't have enough community engagement to keep that basic level of filter fresh.
The very least you could do is allow those same filters to be available after a search. Having only 'relevant' and 'date' as sorting options is useless.
Can someone at least explain why this is a bad idea?
I get that I'm a new member, so don't have a clique of people here to engage with this poll, but I don't see how this can be seen as a bad idea...
