Well, I guess some of the more serious accusations that involve real abuse, rather than butt-hurt hags, have been proven. The guy really was an asshole. That undermines the impact of the arguments in the OP. It's still valid, IMO, but demonstrates the political danger of linking a general argument to specific events or people.
