the reason governments hate it is that it makes doing nothing seem ok. people can be smart proactive and all that but they smoke pot and the dont care that they live in shit. so governments hate it so the population will work hard earn money can pay tax so the government can spend it on looking after the alcoholics and cancer caused by smoking. if people only smoked it alittle and as a pass time so it didnt interfere with work then they really wouldnt care.
