I have read a lot of fantasy lit over the years, and am still puzzled at what drugs were taken that caused the creation of the modern day Santa Claus? Tolkien's imagination was no match for this myth.
An elf, riding in the sky, in a sleigh, being powered by mythical reindeer (one with a glowing nose), to an invisible factory in the North Pole, where pirated toys and games are being made, which are then distributed to every child in the world all within one day??? Forget about the parts about the chimney, lists of good and bad, and the endless duplicates sitting in every store and mall around the world. Where are the lawyers, suing for copyright infringing? Where are the governments, to collect taxes, enforce labor laws, OSHA to ensure safe work conditions, unions to guarantee fair wages, regulators to assure that the toys are to standard (lead based paint, breakable parts that could injure...), lawyers to sue when the wrong toy is left...? Tis the season to be screwed. Hurry back to the store. The latest version of the newest 'rage' is on the shelf, but only while supplies last.
