A Michigan man is facing federal charges for allegedly arranging to have sex with a 15-year-old at a casino across the border in Canada.

A complaint filed in Unites States District Court in Detroit against Carlos Roy Castaneda, states Castaneda corresponded for days with an undercover Department of Homeland security agent to plan an arranged sexual encounter with who Castaneda thought was a teen girl.

The complaint states that the undercover agent found an ad in June posted by Castaneda on the website mlos.pika777.eu.org say he wanted to have sexual relations with someone of �any age.�

A U.S. pastor has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of travelling to Haiti to have sex with children.

Larry Michael Bollinger, from Gaston, North Carolina, �did knowingly travel� from the United States to Haiti, and engage in illicit sexual conduct� with two minors, according to a bill of indictment filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina on Tuesday.

Records show Bollinger was booked into the Mecklenburg County jail late Wednesday evening.

The alleged sexual acts occurred in 2009, between August 1 and November 18, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Behind bars: Gastonia pastor is in jail after being indicted on charges of having sex with two minors in Haiti.

Bollinger, a Lutheran pastor for 33 years, had been working as a coordinator with The Lazarus Project, a mostly Lutheran ministry that runs a vocational school and medical clinic in the Caribbean country.

Current coordinator of the Project, Rev. Ron Qualley, told the Charlotte Observer that Bolliger �was immediately removed from that position� when the sexual accusations first came to light in 2009.

�This is not anything we condone,� he said.

But Rev. Qualley insisted Bollinger �did very good work� during his time with the Project, which has been operating in Haiti for 16 years.

He said that while the accusations had come as a shock, the ministry had not been impacted and continued to do its work.

�The people of Haiti depend on our good work,� he said. �We�re trying to do the best we can.�

Bollinger and his wife had done volunteer work with the House of Mercy, a residential care facility in Belmont for individuals in the advanced stages of AIDS, according to the Charlotte Observer.

He is also believed to have been the pastor at Christ Lutheran Church in Stanley in the past.

A Prius driver who was using his cell phone to record footage of a pack of motorcyclists veered into them Sunday morning, prompting some of the bikers to beat him up on the freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The incident unfolded just after 8 a.m. as several motorcycle clubs cruised on Harley-Davidsons and other bikes in the fast lane of northbound Highway 101 near Belmont, between Ralston Avenue and West Hillsdale Boulevard.

CHP Officer Art Montiel said the driver of the white Prius, who was not identified, was one lane over as he video-recorded. Apparently distracted, he veered right into the third lane, overcorrected and crossed back into the fast lane, hitting a motorcycle, Montiel said.

The Prius, he said, bounced off the 4-foot dividing wall and took down a second motorcycle before coming to a stop. Witnesses then reported seeing bikers beating the Prius driver, who later told investigators that he was threatened with a knife as well.

The Prius driver and the two motorcyclists were taken by ambulances to hospitals to be treated for minor injuries. The Prius driver will be cited for distracted driving, Montiel said, while investigators are hoping witnesses can identify who took part in the alleged assault that followed.

An Indiana county judge has ruled this week that the identities of those making anonymous comments at websites can be revealed by court order.
To make comments, posters share information like an email address � and they leave the record of an IP address, whether they know it at the time or not. The site, at least, has the capability to find the author of the comment. In short, it�s not really anonymous.

So, really, no comments on the Internet should be considered private.

Liability issues also surface when anonymous Internet critics post comments using an Internet Service Provider and then are revealed by the ISP after the plaintiff files a subpoena requesting the anonymous poster�s identifying information. For instance, in both the Cohen and FBC Jax Watchdog cases, the defendants have now filed suits against the ISPs, alleging that their rights to anonymous speech were violated when the ISP complied with the subpoena and handed over the anonymous critic�s identifying information.

�Given that anonymity has plusses and minuses and is protected by the First Amendment,� Lidsky said, �how do you balance the right of a person who claims her reputation has been injured by something that has been said about her online with the right of speakers to voice their opinions anonymously?�

Juanita Byars, 72-year-old woman from Salisbury, North Carolina has been arrested for allegedly committing sex acts with a seven-year-old child.

Brian and Crystal Byrd sued Aaron's, Inc. Monday, alleging that the Dell Inspiron laptop they purchased from Aaron's contained remote monitoring software that, they say, could have captured credit card numbers or personal pictures of the Casper, Wyoming couple or their 5-year-old son.

The lawsuit names Aaron's, an Aaron's franchisee, and Designerware, which developed the PC Rental Agent software that the suit alleges is permanently installed on computers rented by Aaron's.

PC Rental Agent ("Protect your RTO Computersa") is a remote-monitoring agent that allows PC rental companies to monitor all the activity on a rented PC, including taking pictures using the Webcam.

That isn't the only bad thing that happened to the Byrds in their dealings with the rent-to-own company. In the suit, the Byrds say they paid more than $1,200 in installments to buy the Inspiron, which ITWorld's Kevin Fogarty says retails for about $400.

"ELYRIA � The Columbia Schools teacher accused of sending topless photos of herself to the son of a man who then allegedly tried to blackmail her was formally charged Monday with disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.

Michelle Kazmierczak, 46, could get up to six months in jail if convicted of the misdemeanor charge.

Columbia Schools Superintendent Graig Bansek said Monday that Kazmierczak has been suspended with pay from her job teaching fifth-grade science at Columbia Middle School pending the outcome of an investigation.

Tyrone Price, the man who allegedly tried to blackmail Kazmierczak, was indicted last week on two counts of extortion.

Price�s attorney, Mike Duff, has denied his client was trying to extort the teacher, whose daughter was dating his son. He accused Kazmierczak of making up the allegation in an effort to get herself out of trouble.

According to Lorain County sheriff�s deputies, the boy, who Duff said was in 8th grade at the time the photos were sent, made comments to Kazmierczak comparing her to her daughter. That prompted the teacher to forward first photos of herself in a bra and later of herself topless to Price�s son, who attended a different school district.

Detective Mike Lopez said last week that Price, who was under investigation by Amherst police for embezzling money from the Amherst Youth Football Association when the blackmail allegedly occurred, found the photos and began trying to extort Kazmierczak via phone calls and text messages.

Price allegedly demanded an Xbox and, when Kazmierczak said she couldn�t do that because her husband would find out, cash. At one point he demanded she sell her wedding ring or claim to lose the stone and get an insurance payout to give to him, Lopez has said.

Kazmierczak eventually contacted deputies about the extortion and her attorney, Kenneth Lieux, said last week that she was cooperating with the investigation. Lieux said his client was a victim in the case.

Price, 38, was placed in a court-run diversion program over the objections of prosecutors last month. He had pleaded guilty to theft and misuse of credit cards, but those charges would be dropped if he successfully completed the program.

He also had to repay $23,556 he stole from the football league that he served as p******** of between 2006 and his resignation in May 2010. Duff contends that Price was a sloppy bookkeeper and never intended to steal any money.

Kazmierczak is due in Elyria Municipal Court next week, according to court records."

The woman will direct you to a website that has a bunch of her pictures on it; it also includes a place where you need to enter your credit card info so as to "vote." One of the emails you receive includes a Special Code that allegedly allows you free access, but you're still required to put in your CC details alongside it. "Nothing will be billed to your card," you're told by the erstwhile beauty.

Naturally the purpose of the scam is to capture your credit card info. The first red flag is the fact the website is "http" and not "https." So what I do is enter a bunch of plausible but fake information -- they want your CC number, name on the card, billing zip code, three-digit security code from the back of the card, and an email address. I like to use "denverchump@yahoo.com."

So that's what's going on these days. And since "she" figured to have a live one on the hook, the least I could do is help proliferate her photos. BTW, she goes by the first name of Ruzzel (weird, huh) and claims to be Filipina. I'd also post her alleged surname, but I don't want to incur the wrath of ML admins.
