Solutions for Chat Freezes

A number of our chat users have been bothered by the chat freezes so I thought I'd provide the reason, as well as a couple solutions that have helped a lot of people. The reason the chat freezes occur is because mainly the two used browsers Chrome and Firefox have done away with the use of Adobe Flash. Sadly, chat still uses Flash until a chat update arrives we'll continue to have these "freezes"

now the Solutions:

1. Open a new TAB within the same window that contains chat, click into it and type, then click back into chat and it should unfreeze promptly. Sometimes it takes a couple tries or simply some patience. But I've personally had success with this method.

2. Minimize the TAB. I havent tried this one yet, but a few users swear by it.

3. Edge Browser: this browser still uses Flash and will beat the whole chat freeze altogether.

I know this has been very frustrating for a lot of you and I hope these suggestions help and maintain an optimal chat experience. If you have any other options or solutions, please add a comment or two.
