Gimp Guy Underground presents The Halloween Night Zombie Walk and After Party Show, Saturday October 31st, 2009. Before the show at Forward Hall, there will be a short Zombie Walk from the Erie Cemetery to Forward Hall (it�s only about 5 blocks total). Those in costume (zombie preferred, but any costume!) who wish to participate in the walk should meet at the Whippy Dip on 25th and Chestnut around 5:15pm. Participants will leave there about 5:30pm and head south to 26th Street, then east along 26th to Peach Street and finally north to Forward Hall. This route will provide maximum exposure during rush hour. It will be filmed as well. After the walk, there will be a kick ass show and party at Forward Hall featuring 5 bands and 2 Dj�s. The bands are Obelus (Edinboro, Pa Thrash Metal/Metalcore), Otis (Erie, Pa Bass Heavy Progressive Funk/Jazz Rock), Dead Men Don�t Talk (Bradford, Pa Metal/Hardcore), Jibilian/Setar (Los Angeles, Ca Funk Duo Craziness) and Dead Holiday (Utica, Ny Horror Punk Rock). Dj�s spinning between the bands sets are The Buddha Stylus and Dj Karma Tek. Doors are at 6pm. $6 at the door. $1 off admission if you come in costume.

i confess that i'm one of the writers for the show The Walking Dead. now i'm only doing this because i love this site and it's fun community, so consider this a gift to you TWD fans.

last week's episode had Andrea trap the Governor in a room with alot of zombies leaving him to die. later in the episode, he see he survived and he successfully prevented Andrea from warning the group at the prison about the Governor's plan to murder them.

**SPOILERS**

now in that episode we see the Governor made it out alive as he returned to Woodbury, but if you look closely you can see that he's holding his side and obviously disgruntled. that's because he has been bitten. he chained up Andrea in his dungeon so that when he turns into a zombie, he will immediately feed on her. while this happens the Governor's army will attack the prison with heavy artillery (rpg's, 50 cals, etc). alot of characters will be killed off in the season finale, including Merle.

Okay, so, i had this dream like 24 hours ago (its 5 in the morning so give or take) and either way, it was about some sort of apocalypse or fall of society.
I often had dreams of something similar bout of course, with the whole zombies and z-germ thing, but this one was different.
It was very vivid, and i swear i was witnessing some of these events that had occurred.
One being that there was a great sense of fear, no matter where i was, people were dying everywhere from a apparent super-virus, kinda of like a modern black plague.

So okay, i can go with that for a while, emotionally anyways, that doesn't bother me.
I was pretty much by myself (odd, im usually with friends or family in these situations) on foot walking down a street with abandoned cars and the like, when thick dark clouds started rolling over head.
In my dream, i already had the knowledge of what to do, when the clouds come, you run inside.
That was basically what my normally conscious brain can remember and i struggle to still understand why fear washed over me from this storm.
Essentially what it boiled down to was, that some sort of hellish demon looking creatures (lack of a better description) inhabited earth, and well, started killing everyone. If there were survivors of the plagues, these demons would soon follow with the dark clouds. Evidence of where they have been could be shown by the dismembered, disemboweled, corpse that either lay about or strung up on ceilings and walls as decorations.

I woke up, still have that fear-ish feeling and went to take a piss and had this feeling like there was someone in my house, you know that feeling that oyu get when you sense someone there that shouldn't be?
Either way, i looked around til satisfied, and went back to sleep.
This dream starts right back up where i left off.
and it was pretty much surviving every minute and sleeping with one eye open type of stuff.
Then i woke up again early in the morning, around 5, and turned my desk lamp on.
From the corner of my eye i swear i saw a decapitated head sitting on my desk or what appeared to be one.
I blinked as i flinched to look at it, and as i blinked, it disappeared.
Never went to sleep after that.

I confess that I have a very rare condition called REM behavior disorder. I literally act out my dreams.

It's like sleepwalking on steroids, because I don't just walk around like a fucking zombie, but I'm fully aware of what I'm doing, but it's a dream. During REM sleep, we dream. Blood pressure rises, rapid eye movement occurs (that's the REM acronym), we breath irregularly and, most importantly: muscle paralysis occurs, so that normal people can't move when they dream. Well, people like me with RBD don't have this muscle paralysis, so it's possible to walk, talk, etc. Some people with RBD get violent, thankfully I don't. I panic.

Here's a recent RBD sleepwalk episode I had: I dreamt that there was an intruder in our home who had poured gasoline all over our bedroom and who was about to set the house on fire. I armed myself with a baseball bat, woke up my girlfriend, and had only three concerns:

1. Get her into safety
2. Don't set the house on fire
3. Deal with the intruder who was probably still in the house

I told my girlfriend to "go to the neighbors, call the cops, don't turn on the light". I was so fucking concerned about her, I just wanted to get her out of there, bedcause I really thought that the whole room would burst into flames in a matter of seconds. Contrary to normal nightmares, I don't wake up when the dream gets too intense. But when I wake up in those RBD dreams, I'm awake from one second to another. It took my girlfriend a few seconds to wake up, she knows about my condition so she knew what's going on. She quickly turned on the light and I was awake. The next day, I had to promise her to see a doctor...
