Ok, their is an popular opinion (at least on tec blogs from people who like apples smooth dick) out there that gaming consoles are doomed after this next gen. The people who write these articles are not into tec at all No, the end to consoles is not happening. One that implies very small thin and underpowered devices like tablets and cellphones are going to exclusively be the game systems. This is the order of things, 1st supercomputer spec= warehouse sized. 2nd formerly supercomputer spec= office sized grid for work. 3rd formally office only equipment now in home PC. 4th formally PC only is now cheap, and small enough for home console's. 5th formally console tec is now small and efficient enough to be powered by cheap battery's, and be razor thin. Consoles will never die, because they are the middle of the road for a particular spec. You don't make new more powerful tec razor thin, you have to make it big and inefficient to begin with. It has to be by laws of physics.
Is that standard national grid uniform?
