    @venszolga When it's done on cattle with an elastrator, the tight elastic bands cut off the blood supply. This lack of blood creates a natural analgesic effect. After a week or two, the balls fall off on their own.

    I don't think a few hours is enough, but maybe with surgical removal afterwards?
