J'ai récemment essayé de couper le boyau des hot-dogs dans le sens de la longueur, pas trop profond, juste assez pour le traverser. J'ai aussi essayé de couper le hot-dog en deux. Les deux méthodes permettent aux asticots de pénétrer plus rapidement dans le hot-dog. La graisse sera plus épaisse, mais l'odeur sera bien moins prononcée.
