Hey people I know this is a "moral free" website but maybe we can do a good thing once in a while. So I bet many of you have heard of Joseph Kony and what is going on in Uganda right now. For anyone that hasn't heard yet he is pretty much abducting kids and turning them into child soldiers and making them do horrible things that not even us in motherless would ever think of forcing a kid do. I'm not asking you for money or anything like that all I ask you is to spread the word about what this guy is doing and help capture him.

Indeed Kony signed a peace treaty not only once but at least 3 other times and he just broke them over and over. The last treaty he signed didn't even last a year.

How is the US supposed to afford ANOTHER WAR. Jesus Christ XE services are still in Iraq, US military is still in Afghanistan. We're beating the war drums on Iran in the same fashion we did with Iraq. USA has 900+ bases in 130 countries. The economy is fucked, as badly as I feel about what's happening in Africa, we should have done something in Rwanda or any other country 30 years ago. We can't afford it. Let the UN take care of that mess because we certainly don't have the means to fight another guerrilla unit in ANOTHER country.

The US is not funding a war!! We are not even sending troops just military advisers!! The US won't do any fighting they are just helping out the Ugandan Military who is going to do all the fighting. We are not fighting a guerilla we are capturing a war criminal!
Second of all you are telling us to be rational and then send us a link that is even less credible than wikipedia! hahaha
Third how can you talk shit about a good cause? We are not asking you for money and we are not asking you to drop everything you're doing and run to africa and feed the starving children. Shit, we are not even asking you to donate blood! The only thing that this movement is asking from you, a citizen of the world, is to pass the word about what this guy is doing. You know you people love to criticize the government and whatnot, but when it is your chance to actually do something helpful you decide to go against it. That is not rational thinking to me.

Sadly I wish we could all think like this but Kony has been at large for over 25 years and over 15 million people have died in africa over the last 20 years. The US didn't care then so you have to wonder why the interest all of a sudden. Blood diamonds and genocide have been documented for the last 100 years and we have done little except push for a greater demand for diamonds and basically allow genocide to happen. Kony isn't even in Uganda anymore, they just want our money for buying the "Kony packs" of stickers, posters and billboards. I demand transparency of the balance sheet used by these people before I believe what they're doing in truly a noble cause and not just another means of pushing a war or western beliefs on other countries.

LET THE UN TAKE CARE OF IT. They should be very informed on the subject of Kony and shouldn't need a grassroots movement to talk them into taking action. That is pure bullshit.

first we send the advisers, then we call them terrorists, then we send in drones. If it doesn't happen that way then the US will just spend even more money we do not have on foreign aid. Let the UN do their own job for once please. They let Africa down on MULTIPLE occasions, you truly think this time would be any better? I wish it were but I truly doubt it.

lol at first i didn't really care about Kony but then I saw all of y'all talking about it so I decided to check it out... this guy looks dangerous and I think we should stop him. I guess it was all the shit you were talking about that made me check this thing out. I guess they're right when they say there is no such thing as bad publicity haha
