Is there a way for me to mention users in a board post in a way that they get notified? I basically just wanna easily notify them whenever I make a board post.

Does it only work in the OP post, only with friends, or from non-Anonymous posts? I didn't receive a notification of you mentioning me but instead a notice and that was just because of a reply to my post.

It works wherever you put it, boards, shouts, comments etc

Notification of a board post reply takes precedence over the username mention but it will send a notice to the member that they got mentioned if they're not the OP.
