I couldn't pick one line, all three have a lot of good figures and some bad. I will say the weakest was titan masters because I didn't like the headmaster gimmick and felt it took away from some otherwise good figures.
One thing I will say is that we now have combiners of Optimus, elita, grimlock and starscream. So how long do we have to wait for a megatron combiner hmmm
I think there is a Galvatron combiner. Also there are like 2 Megatron triple changers, but yeah no Megatron combiners as far as I know. I really wish Masterpiece Megatron was more freely available. I got to see one in Singapore once, but I couldn't get it because I was going to travel through AU and he is super illegal there. As for the three lines, I think I would have to agree that the Titan Master one was the weakest out of the bunch. In general I feel that line wide gimmicks can both help and hamper figures. On one hand forcing the gimmick can lead to really creative new ides, on the other hand it can sometimes get in the way of good character representations or get in the way of other features like transformation. I think they have been doing better with the line wide gimmicks lately though.
back in the day i had the original monster sized mp megs then sold it and got the better sized 3rd party one. now I want the new one, but wont be able to afford that for a loooong time. fun fact: I once used MP fusion cannon as a dildo, got me off but not very well. was funny because the red light kept going off in me ;) my MPs are some of the crown jewels of my collection. yeah, a lot of the titan master toys sucked because you have little arms sticking off the sides of the heads of a bunch of good figures. some look good if u pop them off, other just look weird. a megatron combiner torso would be the sickest thing ever. my current obsession is the new studio series figures
Oh wow I had no idea about the studio series. So are they new toys or re releases of older movie toys? As for the MP megatron, wasn't that kind of difficult or uncomfortable? sometimes the edges of round pieces can be a little sharp. I never had that megatron so I don't know. The only kind of kinky thing I ever did with any of the figures was when I took a picture of Armada Unicron chomping down on my then girlfriend's small breast. I don't have the photo anymore the computer it was on was trashed. I was really into collecting the G1 toys. It was interesting how they were cobbled together from many different toy makers and designs. Also the level of creativity that was needed to turn these toys into characters was impressive. It's funny to look at the G1 ironhide toy and realize that it inspired a neat powerful character. I mean the toy doesn't even have a head!
its a new line of better looking, more accurate looking and properly sized. the best is an all new 100% better Blackout figure. some other good ones are DOTM crowbar from TLK berserker, new molds of ratchet, jazz, starscream, grimlock, stinger, optimus, rotf megs and TLK bee redone with his classic old camaro look. as for the MP cannon play, I made it work ;) these days i like to use titan masters galavtrons cannon, much better fit and smoother. feels amaaaaazing I love when people do those dirty dioramas and poses with the figures lol i should try that yeah, the creativity that went into developing personality and backstories for the toys from scratch was real impressive.
