Extensive testing of any new site feature always takes place before said feature is released..
However, we can't fully predict how well these features will integrate into the site, with the huge number of members accessing them, until they do actually go 'live'..
As a result there's always a short period of debugging and tweaking after they're put in place..
TLDR?
Have some patience ya whiny bitches..
