The "kiddies" usually find out on their own. It's the older generations that just recently learned about those awesome new technologies, but have a hard time learning new tricks. I know i do.

Many Linux distros come with networking tools that you can use to sniff access points, browse network shares, etc. You can either use a live distro that is designed for such a purpose (BackTrack) or install a popular distro like Ubuntu and get the networking tools from the software manager or from websites.

OP here---Thanks Xion, good to see someone cares more about finding win then just talking out of their ass. I was hoping to find a way to make it work without a Linux distro, but hpoefully I can get things to work in a damnsmalllinux distro. That would be the most convenient. I've been trying to use a combo of Cain and Abel/NMap, but its not getting anywhere. Guess things are just more annoying on a PC. I'll keep ya updated, if anyone actually cares lol.
