For the most part, "people" are just as the name suggests: "people". The only thing that actually is a mystery to me is why does so much tension in America exist today. Is it because of the diversity of cultures, ethnicities, and sexual orientation? Is it because noone really wants to try to understand someone else's culture? NO! The actual reason is people are afraid of change. They fear "the unknown".... --->
In Japan, I worked in one of the hospitals near Yokosuka. What shocked me about that place was that I wasn't some "Black Guy" or "Nigger", but I was "one of those Americans". When I decided to come back to America to visit my family, THAT's when I was labeled as "black". America would be so powerful IF we were to get along, IF we could push our youth to newer heights, and IF we would expand our minds further than what we could see. I am not trying to be some stereotypical "color" nor am I trying to be an "Uncle Tom". What I am trying to be is a person who leaves this world a little better for the generations to come. In reality, people won't change nor will they care. It is in human nature to act such a way. It is true that I have come a long way - from the ghetto living in poverty, to an easier living. I have traveled to many countries and seen many different cultures. ---->

Yes, it is true that people (in a confined area) can introduce/intensify
some feelings. BUT, you cannot state that ALL people of that particular culture, race, or sex is that specific way. Nowadays though, our youth listens to too many "rapper gangstas" and watch "gangsta" movies. It is not a fault of just one person and/or entity. The parents are the main line in which they should not have their offsprings being raised by television and other "media". Government is partially to blame because now, if someone was disciplining their child - someone would report them and that parent could go to jail. I believe that one saying is true : "If noone stands for something everyone will fall for everything".
This person who originally posted this post - well you could tell that he/she isn't willing to help any situation, just spread his/her feelings about a situation that he/she might have been in. I know for a fact that most people who hate other people for a prejudicial reason either had some bad experience which a member of that group, or it has been instilled in their mind by the parents. That's all that I have to say.

This is for the above comment.
My reply to HIM is: Why does he say things that show his lack of intellegiance?
I mean, interestingly enough, not only does he utilize foul language to try to make a point, but also his punctuation is off as well. WHO looks "stupid" now mister?
you shouldnt hate black people funny pic though
I am "black", yet I am "American". Can you see which one I capitalized? I have opened doors for other cultures (not just my own) to walk through. They, in return have opened doors for me. It doesn't make someone less than a man to walk through the door that someone has opened for them. In fact it makes them a better man. Racism, bigotry, sexism, and other forms of discrimination are a sign of ignorance, weakness, and immaturity.
In closing, as I have stated in the beginning, people are people. Whether they are Asian, Black, White, or whatever, they are still people. Who want to be a part of something. Kind of like molecules. I can't remember whose law it was (maybe Charles' law) but it was said that "molecules of the same, stick together". Let's change that law.

Smart man Mike, I spent 10 yrs in the military, been to 23 different countries and worked with people from all cultures of life, never had a racist thought until i moved to Memphis. Thats where i encountered ignorance on a monumental scale. It tops the list in violent crime, the businesses are all moving out and the wanna-be gangsta's run the city. Sometimes racism is force fed to you by the very people who condemn it.
