My company was raided about a year ago and yea they make all customers get out and all the employees and contractors line up against the wall and sit in front of three or four officers and they start pulling you away one by one and asking you questions about everything while the rest of the cops tear the place apart looking for everything

There's a few different ways cops can do it. One, when they have suspicion they have to have permission from the owner and inhabitants to be able to look around and ask you questions. They cannot just barge in under suspicion unless they see something going on right then and there. 2, the warrant procedure which is after the fact. That's when they can do the full raid, and create the situation where they can question everyone even when you refuse to let them come in. 3, after the warrant and investigation they can hold you for questioning for up to 3 days, after that if they still need you, they can hold you as a material witness of the case therefore they can have you detained as long as they see fit. If you are a minor in that situation, they have to have parental or guardian approval.

Was at a AMP when it was raided and it was funny there must have been 10 girls and 4 or 5 guys in various stages of dress running out the back door, including me. Mama-san held them at the door asking for papers and such long enought so everyone got out before the raid started. All they got her for was not having the proper permits.
