@Jermil1977 yes I absolute love the whimpering! Is it totally understandable to be fearful - she is a young woman about to be executed. But overall I think she was very brave given the circumstances and handled it very well I thought. Died with dignity. Also, I appreciate that the executioner looked her in the eye. A lot of countries like Japan to dehumanize the victim, have multiple executioners in different room, etc. In this situation he is accepting responsibility for depriving her

@sssrrr94 yes that last look of fear is fascinating, you can even hear her whimpering before her face is covered for good. I guess she is regretting her crime dearly at the end. I also imagine having them kneeling on the trapdoor helps if their legs give way in fear as they are placed there.

@Jermil1977 yeah my concern is that she has such a petite thin body. I'd imagine she would have to fall much much further for optimum hanging. I hope she didn't suffer too much with that short drop. I do love that they let her kneel so she doesn't have to stand, trembling in fear. And I do love the fear in her eyes as she makes final eye contact with the executioner before the hood.

@sssrrr94 actually these drops are not too long but it is a satisfying representation. I especially like the look on her face as the hood comes down and the shoe dropping on the last frames.

she is so young and beautiful. I love seeing her undergo a long-drop execution. Her body looks so good falling through the trapdoor, lurching upward at the end of the rope, and doing the last dance.
