John Currin- The Women of Franklin Street
Usually his wife is his muse. but this time he chose a different face. I feel that is why the girl is the centre has a smile that is disconnected to her surroundings but connected to the artist. the girl in the back looks uncomforably posed. but the lady in the front seems to be focused on pleasuring, with her fingers and lips appropriately positioned.
