I have been married for around 20 years now and have been faithful to my wife all this time.We have had argument's about our relationship now for over 5 years and she told me one time that she didn't love me in the way she once did.
I said that I would leave but then she said that I should stay, and that we would try to continue to live together as man and wife still and see if we could work things out.
However , we regularly have had disputes over recent years and last year she said that she would leave me and move away with my son [who is now an adult but lives at home].This really crushed me for a while even though she did not carry out this threat, but I have learnt now to be less committed and serious about our relationship and more driven by having fun and caring about me and my wants in life.
Early this year I found out that a guy at the place that she works on night-shift was sending her dirty jokes to her mobile and she had his number on her caller contacts.She had spoken about this man some years before saying how nice and helpful he was...and even spoke about him in glowing terms to our son.
Strange thing is that she always made out to me in the past that she didnt like smutty jokes on a personal level but when I confronted her with the fact that I knew about the jokes and her contact on her mobile she said that it was just "him" and that he sent them to other people at work.I started to think that she was a hypocrite.
I then found out that on her new mobile phone that she had listed his number under a womans name and continued to have his number on her phone.When I confronted her with this she said that he acted like "an old woman" and tnhat is why she gave him a womans name in her contacts list.
We argued a lot after this, as I was really starting to find all of this a little convenient for her.... even though it could have been true.In addition,during one of our rants, she said that she was keeping her friends away from me as she didnt want me to have contact with them,despite the fact that she knew all my friends ,even the female contacts at my work.
She is still slightly secretive and has been for some years, but I am still not sure that she has cheated on me---- but she did say one time that she wished that she had had sex with someone just to be able to say it to me.This I found quite shocking as I have never said anything like that to her.
There is so much more of this to tell, especially about how things have been between us over the last 6 months, but I want to know your views on this situation....we are both in our 50's and we are told that we both look younger than our ages.She is tall,dark haired,has long shapely legs and has good sized breasts.
