I get it and the ending was a surprise but I didn't laugh at all. I wonder if this is differences in sense of humour between different cultures. I can imagine Americans and Germans finding it hilarious. (I'm English)

Nah, I' m American and I didn't find this funny at all. Jokes have to actually make sense to be funny.

I'm English and I found it a little funny. Think its just written badly to be honest (no offence,comic timing is difficult in text)
