Give OP some slack. Who the fuck cares whether he was PSH's biggest fan or second biggest fan? It's just an expression.

I'm with you OP. Hoffman was one of my favorites, and one of the finest actors of his generation, without a doubt. He'll be missed.

Rest in peace, Phil. May you finally obtain respite from the demons that haunted you.

I met him while he did a lecture at a near by college, he was an extremely intelligent man and his lecture made me gain even more appreciation for him as an actor.
