@Mariemm as I've mentioned before, most films don't make much sense if you think about them beyond the surface gloss.

It's the film-making process that interests me more these days.

I imagine this actor already had a small frame but I wonder how much weight she had to lose in order to accommodate to additional layer of prosthetics \ makeup.

We should look for a contemporary image of her perhaps!

@Mariemm I started either watching the "Making of..." or listening to the commentary and I'm pretty sure the Director was saying that the studio wanted changes to the script, after they'd started filming...or something like that.

Maybe that goes part way to explaining it.

Either way, I agree, it's really just there for shock value or.....look what our special effects people came up with ha ha!!

@Mariemm Well I sort of got the skinning bit as part of their fucked up plan but didn't quite get why the woman she whispers to shot herself!

Was that to fast-forward to "heaven" or avoid it??
