We have voluntarily taken the site offline to identify content that does not align with our rules and to fix the exploits that allowed a small number of uploaders to take advantage of the system. Their actions violated the trust we place in the community and negatively affected the experience of the vast majority of our users.

We are working to make sure that when the site returns online, those exploits are closed and violating content is removed. At the scale we operate, with tens of thousands of new uploads every single day, identifying every violation is like finding needles in a haystack. We are doing this work now to close those exploits and make sure only content that follows our rules remains.
All content posted to this site is 100% user contributed. All illegal uploads will be reported.

Our position has always been clear and remains unchanged: anything legal stays. Anything illegal is reported to the authorities and removed.

The report button has always been, and will continue to be, available on every single file. We rely on the community to help us keep the platform clean. Please use it for any content that violates our Terms of Use, and we will react accordingly through deletion and, where appropriate, reporting to the authorities.

This work will allow us to return with a stronger, safer, and more reliable platform for the community, while making sure that all users respect the rules that keep the platform operating.
